Infertility is when a woman isn’t able to get pregnant after one year of trying (or six months if a woman is 35 or older). Many things can affect a woman’s ability to have a baby. The chances of becoming pregnant decline after the age of 35 as women have lost a majority of their eggs and the quality of a man’s sperm declines.
