At The Women’s Village of Mobile, we take a comprehensive approach to women’s health. We provide a wide range of services, including ob/gyn and midwifery care. We treat our patients according to their needs and lifestyle. Our approach is to explore the health issues a woman is experiencing rather than just prescribing medication to alleviate symptoms of an underlying problem. Dr. Hope Mitchell McLean is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is dedicated to providing responsive and detailed medical care. She is very grateful to have Johnita Jones as her nurse practitioner to help with primary care needs. We focus on listening to your needs and concerns thereby creating a safe, welcoming environment. We are passionate about the power of healing and deliver each patient interaction with kindness and intentionality.
We provide comprehensive gynecology services, including STD screening, breast exams, contraceptive care and more. Our eclectic background and experience brings you the best experience for something that is generally considered humiliating or shameful.
We recognize the importance of providing excellent prenatal care throughout your entire pregnancy. You will likely meet with our entire team at some point and will soon be offered group appointments! We want you to go through this journey with our Village as well!
Education in combination with midwifery services can be used to provide women with well-balanced, healthy care in all stages of pregnancy. Our midwifery care is personalized for each patient.
